Health Checks

Diabetic eye screening

Diabetic eye screening is a test to check for eye problems caused by diabetes. The eye screening test can find problems before they affect your sight.

If you have diabetes and are aged 12 or over you’ll get a letter every year asking you to have an eye screening test. You should follow the instructions on the letter to book your test.

Find contact details and locations for the Greater Manchester South Diabetic Eye Screening programme on the In Health Group website. You can also find out more about diabetic eye screening on the NHS website.
