Withdrawal symptoms from alcohol

Giving up drinking suddenly can be dangerous if you have been drinking high quantities regularly. You should be aware of the following symptoms:

  • nausea
  • retching
  • sweating
  • increased anxiety or depression
  • difficulty sleeping
  • increased blood pressure
  • hand tremors
  • seeing things that are not actually there
  • seizures
